I should have titled these “Oyster CRACKers” or “Highly Addicting Oyster Crackers”. If you’ve had them before, you know what I’m talking about. If you’ve never tried these – head to the store right now for ingredients!!!
These are PERFECT for parties, gatherings, or a snack to have on hand. They freeze well, which thankfully helps me from eating the whole entire batch.
My kids prefer these seasoned oyster crackers over candy. CANDY!
I signed up to bring a “salty snack” for my daughter’s Valentine’s Day party, it was the perfect excuse to make these.
I have to give credit to my husband’s wonderful Aunt M – whom I got the recipe from. She always makes these for holidays and get-togethers. Long gone are the days I used to eat these to soak up all of the beer I drank pre-kids. Now I have to SHARE them with my three oyster cracker loving Rugrats! 🙂
The recipe calls for 2 teaspoons of dillweed, but I’m slightly obsessed with dill so I do two heaping teaspoons. It’s like when a recipe calls for 2 garlic cloves. Yeah, okay. By two you mean 6? Got it!
